Midlife Makeover: Getting Current about what Matters Most to Me

My health is improving! I have been working so hard on self care. I have a mile long list that I do each week, checking off things I get done day by day. Curvy Yoga, upper body workout, prayer and meditation, etc. I was taking vitamins, but now I’m on some new medications. They are supposed to push my healing to where it needs to be. I’m grateful for my medical doctors and the care I’m being provided at this time. My husband has been such a support, in every way! I’m putting one foot in front of the other….making it day by day.
My cat is very sick too. We aren’t sure if he is going to make it. He has a big test tomorrow, and we will figure out next steps soon. It all started in October when he began having health issues. He had an infection. It is so hard to watch him struggle with sickness. Honestly, some days it is hard to be positive. But I’m trying really hard. I’ve joined a coaching group for creative entrepreneurs! I’m getting a lot out of taking classes on creative living and growing into your creative higher self. At my highest self, I thrive. At my highest self…I am always grateful to be alive…no matter how hard life gets.
I am taking this time to get back to my true self. And to focus on what matters most to me. My husband, my little Roo, my home. My hopes and dreams. They are all a part of what makes my world go round. This blog is a part of it too. And my art, MY ART has carried me through so many years.
